Hello.

Welcome to my life! I am a wife, a mom, a photographer, a lover of cottage country, food and adventure!

Photography is in my blood!

Photography is in my blood!

My passion in life is taking photos. I have always been a pretty quiet and shy individual. I found it easier to express myself creatively.

I was never one to talk about feelings I get so embarrassed or shy feeling. No idea why ask my husband he is the mushiest, cutest, most romantic guy. Always doing cute things and telling me he loves me and all I can do is smile and giggle and whisper it back. AH!

However when it comes to leaving cute notes, or doing cute things, or making/buying thoughtful gifts I am the master! I like to think it makes up for the other times.

My Papa was a photographer originally in Ireland then they made their way to Canada. He did newspaper freelance photography and then made his way to opening his own camera store Maurice O'Kelly cameras. My parents got into the field as well and worked in my grandpas camera store.

My mother and my uncle were always taking pictures and videos when we were younger. Capturing every moment (even embarrassing ones) and I love and appreciate looking back on those times in the old photo albums! I would like to do the same for my family.

There is a tricky balance between enjoying the moments and living in the moment technology free and still trying to capture things for memories. As much as we would all like to think we can remember everything, if you have a memory like mine you can't. I love looking at a still image and having it jog up memories, smells and feelings to relive all over again.

After having my son I looked at the world a whole different way. I wanted to live life like him! I wanted to see the world through his eyes and capture the beauty and magic in every day moments. My love for photography just grew from there!

This blog is my little way of sharing my passions with the world. It is also a diary in a way that I can use it to look back on stories, and moments that I treasure!
